First off, that New Parish show was amazing.  Great venue, the crowd energy was utterly fantastic and we couldn’t have asked for better bands to play with.  Tumbleweed Wanderers, The SHE’S and Finish Ticket all killed it!!  What a spectacular evening.  Big thanks to everyone who came out.

As you can see below, we’ve just released a video for Lady Wisconsin.  We videotaped each take we did of that song, and this video is literally the footage from us playing live in the studio.  Take a look!

We’d like to take a moment to recognize the outstanding efforts of our publicist, David Joseph-Goteiner. Ever since the Aldgate EP came out six weeks ago, DJ’s been working nonstop. He’s submitted us to dozens of blogs, arranged interviews and almost singlehandedly mounted two Hype Machine campaigns for us.

He’s really good at this too (ladies, try to restrain yourselves). His hard work has allowed us to be featured on a dozen different music sites since the EP’s release, including Earmilk, The Wounded Jukebox and On My Radar. He’s been absolutely lights-out. Without him Local Hero would be in a very different place right now.
