Local Hero is an indie-pop band based in Berkeley, California. They are known for their unspeakable onstage antics, hawk-like vision and soft, cuddly fur. They have performed at venues around the San Francisco Bay Area including The Barrel House, Blake’s on Telegraph, Caffe Trieste, Ashkenaz and, most recently, the Greek Theatre. They are currently finishing work on their first EP, which will be released in September of 2011.
